It is with profound sadness and heartfelt sympathy that we honor the life and memory of Benjamin Denys Felicetti, who passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the age of 22. Ben’s passing at Joseph Brant Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, has brought immeasurable grief to all who knew him in Northern Ontario, Burlington, and the wider hockey community who admired and cherished him.
Ben was the beloved son of Dino and Kerri, and a devoted brother to Lucas, forming a bond that will forever remain unbroken. He was the adored grandson of Nonna Luisa, and joins in eternal rest his dearly missed Nonno Ugo, Nana Sandy, and Pepere Denys, who his family believes are welcoming him with open arms. Ben will be deeply missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and the countless friends whose lives he touched with his warmth, humor, and genuine kindness.
Ben’s family shared heartfelt memories that reflect the essence of who he was—a young man full of life, passion, and natural talent. His love for hockey was undeniable. Whether skating in Burlington, Mississauga, or Niagara, or cheering passionately for the Toronto Maple Leafs, hockey was at the center of Ben’s world. His dedication, skill, and hard work earned him admiration from coaches, teammates, and families who watched him grow both on and off the ice.
Beyond the rink, Ben lived with a fearless spirit and a sense of adventure. He loved horror movies and saved the biggest scares for those he loved. His family fondly remembers his bold climbing feats—from trees to rooftops to the Cineplex sign—and the joy he brought to every moment. Whether snowboarding, golfing, playing lacrosse, or trying any new sport, Ben excelled effortlessly. His family treasures the laughter shared at dinners, bocce games, and pool parties—memories now held with bittersweet gratitude.
The outpouring of support from the hockey community and friends has been overwhelming, a testament to Ben’s character, humility, and the respect he earned simply by being himself. He formed friendships not based on ability, but on genuine connection, kindness, and encouragement—qualities that defined him as both an athlete and a young man.
